COLLABORATE

Let's bring MOOVIA to your gym, your event or your university.

MOOVIA is at prototype stage, and we learn more on a training floor than in the lab. If your gym, your event or your class is a good place to test, show or discuss how strength is measured, let's talk.

WAYS TO COLLABORATE

Three ways to collaborate

Gyms, boxes and clubs

What we propose
Test sessions with the sensor and your athletes, within their normal training.
What we need
Real sets and one answer after each: how many reps were actually done.
What you get
A velocity profile per exercise for everyone who takes part, with metrics in validation, and a direct line to the team: what you tell us changes the product.

You do not need to be a high-performance centre. We are interested in a regular gym, with different bars and different techniques.

Events

What we propose
A live demo of the prototype, a talk on velocity-based training, or a space where attendees can try the sensor.
What we need
Space, a bar and a slot in the programme.
What you get
A technical activity for your audience, presented as what it is: technology in development.

The prototype does not measure official competition results.

Universities and training centres

What we propose
A talk in class or at a seminar on VBT, inertial sensors and sports product development, for sport science, engineering or design groups, and possible topics for final-year or master's projects.
What we need
A classroom, an interested group and, if your lab has reference equipment (linear encoder, optical motion capture or force plates), the chance to check our metrics against it.
What you get
A real case of a sports product in development, with its data and its decisions explained.

How we get started

  1. 1

You write to us using the form on this page.

  2. 2

We reply from info@moovia.app and set up a short call.

What to expect today

The sensor measures at 1000 Hz, and the app counts reps and calculates velocity metrics that are still in validation. It is for testing, teaching and learning together; it does not replace a reference measurement system.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of collaborations are you looking for?

Sensor tests at gyms, boxes and clubs; demos and talks at events; and talks, projects and lab tests with universities and training centres.

Do you need to be a high-performance centre?

No. We are interested in a regular gym, with different bars and different techniques: that is where we learn the most.

What data is collected in a test?

The sets logged with the app: the sensor signal, the exercise, the load and the reps reported by the athlete, with an alias instead of a name.

Can the prototype measure a competition?

No. Its metrics are in validation and it does not measure official results. At an event we present it as technology in development.

Where are you based?

In Barcelona. If your proposal is for another city, write to us anyway.
