MOOVIA · TECHNOLOGY FOR STRENGTH TRAINING

Your strength, backed by data you can verify.

We are building the platform for people who lift: your training, your PRs and your performance, with data from a sensor that records the bar 1,000 times per second.

THE VISION

An ecosystem built for strength training

MOOVIA brings three pieces together: a platform where you log your training, devices that measure what happens on the bar, and a community of people who lift.

In development

Platform

Your training, your PRs and your performance, with their history and with the data from the bar.

Working prototype

Devices

Today, a sensor that records the bar 1,000 times per second. Next, more data sources held to the same standard.

Early-access list open

Community

Athletes, gyms, events and universities around strength training. It starts today with the early-access list.

DATA QUALITY

The difference is in the data

A logging app keeps what you type in. MOOVIA will also keep what happens on the bar: every rep measured, with its velocity, its range of motion and the quality of the capture. That is why we started with the device, and why we publish its figures with a date.

How we measure
  • 1000

samples per second on each of its 6 axes

    Current prototype: accelerometer and gyroscope

  • 0

samples lost in the tests of 22 October 2026

    Two captures of 69.4 s and 66.8 s

  • Raw signal

kept with every set, so it can be recalculated

Exportable as JSON from the test app

Velocity metrics: in validation. See the status of each metric.

STATUS

Where we are

MOOVIA is a start-up at prototype stage. This is what exists today, without embellishment.

  • Sensor

    Working prototype

Our own board, firmware and app, tested in real training sessions.

  • Capture

    Verified

1,000 samples per second, with no losses in the tests of 22 October 2026.

  • Metrics

    In validation

The app calculates reps, velocity and range of motion; we do not publish their accuracy yet.

  • Athlete app

    Test version

It logs sets, counts reps and exports the signal. First real sessions between 22 and 26 October 2026.

  • Platform

    In development

The screens on this site are mock-ups with sample data.

  • Next sensor

    In design

A new version of the device, with updated electronics.

  1. First prototype

  2. First in-house board, mounted on a competition bar

  3. The app receives the sensor signal in real time

  4. Athlete app and 1000 Hz capture with no losses

  5. We start designing the platform

COLLABORATE

Gym, event or university?

We are looking for training floors where we can test the sensor with people who really train, events where we can show it, and classrooms where we can explain how strength is measured. If you think it fits what you do, tell us.

EARLY ACCESS

Get into the platform early

Sign up and we will let you know when the first places open. When you sign up, we send you the MOOVIA dossier (in Spanish for now) and an invitation to the community group.

Controller: Ashlyn Abraham Cedeño Holguín. We only use your email to tell you when we launch, send you the dossier and invite you to early access and the community. Frequently asked questions

What is MOOVIA?

MOOVIA is a sports technology start-up from Barcelona that is building a platform for strength training and its own measurement devices. The first is a wireless bar sensor that records the bar's movement 1,000 times per second.

Is the platform available yet?

No. As of 26 October 2026, the platform is in development and the screens on this site are mock-ups with sample data. If you join the early-access list, we will let you know when we open.

What does the sensor measure?

It records the bar's acceleration and angular velocity on 6 axes, 1,000 times per second. From that signal, the app counts reps and calculates velocity, range of motion and tempo; these metrics are in validation.

Does MOOVIA sell anything yet?

No. We do not sell any product today: the sensor is at prototype stage and the platform is in development.

How can I collaborate with MOOVIA?

If you run a gym, organise an event or teach at a university, you can propose a collaboration at moovia.app/en/collaborate. We reply from info@moovia.app.
